Ask for roles, not a label
Fully staffed can describe different combinations of housekeeping, cooking, hosting, maintenance and other services. It does not tell you how many hours each person works or which costs are included. Ask for the actual service schedule and identify the contact responsible for coordinating changes.
Separate service from supplies
Clarify food and beverage budgets, shopping arrangements, special meals and extra hours. In a Jamaica or Barbados villa proposal, request the household team’s duties in writing. For a St. Barts stay, confirm whether a chef is included or booked separately for selected meals. Do not carry an inclusion from one villa into assumptions about another.
Design the stay around your group
Share dietary requirements, children’s routines and the evenings you expect to dine out. Some groups want breakfast prepared every day and only one special dinner; others prefer most meals at the villa. An explicit plan makes the quote easier to compare and gives the team a practical starting point.
