Day one: arrive without a second itinerary
Arrange the airport transfer and essential groceries before arrival, then leave time to settle into the villa. Use the first afternoon to understand the pool, outdoor spaces and local beach options. A simple meal at the property can be more comfortable than rushing the group straight to a reservation.
Day two: choose the sea or the town
If a boat outing is the priority, coordinate the marina, departure and conditions with the operator. Keep the rest of that day flexible. Alternatively, spend time around Cabo San Lucas and the nearby coast. A beach plan should follow local conditions rather than assuming that every picturesque shoreline is suitable for swimming.
Day three: San José and time at the villa
Plan a separate visit to San José del Cabo for the historic center, galleries or a meal in the surrounding farm-dining area. Check current opening days before reserving. Return with enough time to enjoy the villa instead of treating it only as a place to sleep. For a short stay, a few well-chosen outings usually work better than crossing the region repeatedly.
