Traditional Cortona Estate with Invigorating Pool and Stunning Views

About this villa

Tucked away in the verdant embrace of Tuscany's rolling hills, close to the historic charm of Cortona, lies a haven that marries the rustic allure of central Italy with the finesse of modern luxury. This resplendent retreat, a stone's throw from both Tuscany and Umbria, is a treasure waiting to be discovered.

The recently refurbished residence, set in a sprawling 3,000 square meter garden blooming with a kaleidoscope of flora, beckons with its meticulously crafted outdoor spaces. The main villa, a two-tiered marvel, offers six cozy sleeping arrangements (three bedrooms) atop, while below, a pool area and an annex house a convertible sofa bed for two more guests.

Imagine diving into the 4x8 meter swimming pool, where the water shimmers under the Italian sun from May to September. This solar-heated, salt-ionized oasis, with its four infinity edges, offers a mesmerizing view of the valley. The pool is decked out with loungers, umbrellas, an outdoor shower, and a wooden gazebo, perfect for alfresco dining.

Security and privacy are paramount here, with a fenced perimeter, an electric gate, and covered parking. Wander along the serene garden paths, uncover hidden nooks ideal for savoring a book or a glass of the region's finest wine, and bask in the vistas that stretch out before you.

Strategically positioned, this villa serves as a gateway to Tuscan and Umbrian jewels like Cortona, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Perugia, and even Florence, all within a leisurely drive or train ride.

Outdoor living is a breeze with a fully-equipped barbecue and a dining table set against a panoramic backdrop. An external laundry room adds convenience, and the free Wi-Fi keeps you connected. Pet lovers rejoice, as furry friends are welcome upon request, and garden and pool maintenance is taken care of.

Step inside, and you're greeted by an interior that fuses classic Tuscan charm with sleek modernity. Quality furnishings and intricate details fill every room. The main villa spans 200 square meters over two levels, linked by an elegant staircase. The ground floor houses a living room with a cozy stone fireplace and satellite TV, adjacent to a dining room and a well-appointed kitchen. Each of these rooms opens onto the garden and porch.

The upper floor cradles the sleeping quarters: two double bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other a queen) and a twin room that can transform into a double. Two shower-equipped bathrooms complete this floor.

The poolside annex is a gem in itself, featuring a living area with a double sofa bed, a dining area, a stove, and a kitchen. A bathroom with a shower rounds off this space.

This slice of paradise is not just a stay; it's an experience, complete with air conditioning in the bedrooms, high chairs and cots on request, mosquito nets, a welcoming basket of local delights, and a mid-week cleaning service. Prepare to be enchanted.
