Tuscan Volterra Chateau with Private Pool and Vineyard

About this villa

Nestled in the idyllic region where Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany converge, lies a beautifully restored farmhouse that provides an exceptional base for groups of family and friends. With its luxurious comfort and a plethora of activities, this exquisite farmhouse offers endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Located halfway between the lakes at Bolsena and Trasimeno, it is perfectly positioned for a visit to the lush rolling hills of the Val D’Orcia or the volcanic pastures of Monte Amiata and its popular spa town, Chianciano. You'll even have time to visit the world-renowned cities of Orvieto and Perugia.

Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by the stunning traditional peach stucco exterior and green wooden shutters of the farmhouse. The interior has been thoughtfully designed with tasteful preservation of original features, such as terracotta floors and ceilings, wooden beams, and large hearths, while fresh modern styling has been applied to create a unique ambiance. The walls and ceilings are brushed in creamy white, complemented by colorful fabrics providing jewel-like accents, and many of the wood and iron furnishings have been crafted by local artisans.

As you step inside the farmhouse, the expansive dining room on the ground floor awaits you, providing ample space for communal dining and discussions. The equally spacious sitting room on the floor above offers a comfortable retreat for relaxing and socializing. Two bedrooms are tucked away behind each of these convivial spaces, while four additional rooms can be found via a separate entrance at the rear of the building.

Spanning across more than twenty hectares of flourishing vineyards, luscious olive groves and verdant forestry lie the splendidly restored farmhouse - this historic estate is truly one-of-a-kind.
