Choose the experience before the vessel
Explain whether the group wants sightseeing, swimming stops, a quiet lunch or a longer excursion. A Lake Como boat outing and a sea charter in Turks and Caicos or Mykonos involve different conditions and departure arrangements. Choose the operator and vessel for the actual group, not just a photograph.
Confirm the practical package
Ask about capacity, crew, shade, boarding access, equipment, food and the items included in the quoted price. Identify the embarkation point and transfer from the villa. Share children’s ages and accessibility needs so the operator can assess the request accurately.
Make flexibility part of the plan
Conditions may change the route or prevent departure. Confirm cancellation and rescheduling terms and agree an alternative villa day. Do not make a fixed itinerary depend on a particular anchorage or sea condition. A well-planned charter includes a sensible decision process as well as a destination.
